The brewery started in Kolding in 2017. Over the years, it was gradually developed and undergone many improvements to meet growing demands reaching a production of around 150.000 litres per year. Today, the brewery in Kolding is mostly used for special brews and barrel aged beers as the majority of the daily production takes place at the brewery in Copenhagen. Kolding has and will always be a very special place for ÅBEN, as this was the place where it all started and made ÅBEN what it is today.

PLEASE NOTE that the brewery is not open to the public during day hours and the brewery is closed on weekends. We kindly ask you not to drive here without an agreement as the brewery is located on a private estate.
